Neptune Energy today welcomed an announcement by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) to award a subsidy to the PosHYdon project, the world’s first offshore green hydrogen pilot on a working platform.
De Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) heeft een Demonstratie Energie- en Klimaatinnovatie (DEI+) subsidie ten bedrage van 3,6 miljoen euro toegekend aan PosHYdon. PosHYdon is de eerste offshore groene waterstofpilot op een operationeel platform ter wereld. Met deze subsidie kan het consortium met de pilot van start gaan. Het overige benodigde deel van het bedrag wordt door de consortiumpartners gefinancierd.
